Custom Ankle and Foot Orthotics

Dr. Wedemeyer offers custom AFO's for patients with more severe lower extremity complaints who require immobilization of the ankle and/or foot, wound healing and assistance in dorsiflexion of the ankle.

Indications:

• Drop foot
• Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction (PTTD)
• Ankle, subtalar and midtarsal trauma
• Severe arthritis and degenerative arthritis
• Moderate to severe chronic ankle sprains
• Tibilais tendonitis
• Severe pes planus (pronation)
• Charcot foot
• Diabetic ulcers
