Many of the complaints common to the foot and ankle can be resolved with conservative physical medicine. Plantar fasciitis is just one such complaint that we frequently treat effectively. In our practice we have found that a simple change in shoe wear, orthotic support and therapy alleviate the pain of plantar fasciitis safely, effectively and long-term. Chronic untreated plantar fasciitis can undergo a change in the tissue called fasciosis, where the tendon becomes even less vascular, resistant to conservative treatment and ultimately requires medical attention.

If you are suffering from foot or ankle pain, or suspect that you have developed plantar fasciitis, call our office today for an evaluation. Early intervention in any lower extremity complaint can save you a great deal of pain, time and expense if diagnosed and treated timely. The same is true for pain from acute strains, sprains, arthritis, bunions, hammer toes, metatarsal injury and heel pain to name a few.
